Look Of The Week!

The combo of a pale yellow jacket and bold print jeans with booties is such a great transitional look. It's such a pulled together look that makes a statment. And with edgy booties, Kristen Stewart takes it up to the next level. Get inspired by her and pair delicate pieces with noteworthy couterparts for a notice-me-factor. So cute and cool!

Trench Time!

Poppy Delevigne
With the official start of fall this weekend, it's the perfect time to pull out those trenches. While most of us may have the classic tan style which can look dated, you can give it an instant update by pairing it with unexpected counterparts. Take a cue from Poppy Delevigne who wears an asymmetrical floral dress and bold black booties with hers—instantly creating an edgy yet feminine look. Try it over a rocker tee, skinnies and stilettos for a hip weekend look. And for a fun finish, swap out the fabric belt it comes with for a studded leather one.

BELT IT!

Olivia Palmero
Kate Middleton
Belts are back big time this season and with a twist. The new way to wear this accessory is low-slung, like Kate B., and looped, like the Princess and Olivia. It's hip and an easy way to add a dose of edge to any ensemble.
For a seamless look pair a matching style. If you want to give your ensemble a kick, go for a contrasting one.

Two Faves From NYFW

Lela Rose
Lela Rose
Dennis Basso, showcased one of the biggest trends seen across the runways, fringe. It's a detail that was seen on casual classic suits, sheaths and separates to standout evening ensembles(as seen right). Whether in ombre form or solid ways, its a detail designers across the runways played with.

Lela Rose, added overlay lace and trim to her girly dresses—one of the biggest trends for the next Spring season. It too was seen on accessories for day, not just evening.

Get inspired by these Spring/Summer 2013 trends which you can work now. Take your lace skirt and pair it with a chunky sweater for a daytime fall look. Pull out that fringe vest or crossbody you wore with jeans and pair with leather skinnies of an of-the-moment feel.

NY Fashion Week Spring 2013 Trends

Dennis Basso
New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 has been shown some AMAZING fashions. Its been hard to decide which have been my faves. Here are a few of my obsessions thus far that are simply fab.
At Dennis Basso, it was evening glam at its best. Crystals adorned many gowns and cocktail dresses. It was all about jungle inspired prints at Carlos Miele, with flowy numbers in vibrant colors. Marc Jacobs' gave a nod to Edie Sedgwick with 60s silhouettes in striped separates and dresses that had a mod feel. Rachel Roy's bold print suits and dresses were eye-catching and fun.

Rework Your Favorites

Padma Lakshmi
Jennifer Lopez

Take two of summer's hottest trends—neon and colored jeans into fall. By simply swapping out a piece or two, you'll instantly update the style and give it an of-the-moment look.

In JLO's case, instead of wearing the neon trend head-to-toe, replace vibrant pumps with black leather booties. When it comes to colored jeans like Padma's, pair a dark top or jacket versus a bright color to give it an in season feel.

Last Call...

Miranda Kerr

Well...not quite. The rule of not wearing white after Labor Day is a thing of the past. Yes, those eyelet and seersucker pieces should be stored away, but you can still sport some of those heavier white hot fashions well into fall. Take a lesson from Miranda Kerr who transitions her number by parring a deep brown belt and tan bag with it.

The key to taking this hue forward is to pair it with earth tone accessories. Take it a step further as the weather cools, and top a dress with a pullover sweater in a solid deep hue.

At She She Clothing Boutique there are plenty of accessories and pieces to take your whites into the next season.
